SDO18184 - Millennium of the foundation of the Monastery 964-1964, Milton Abbey

This book contains a history and description of Milton Abbey, one of three great Minsters in good repair within Dorset. Details of the interior is given, along with photographs. St Catherine's Chapel is also described as it stands in the woods at the top of the hill to the east of the Abbey. Contained within the book is an additional brochure which provides further details of the Abbey, local shops in Milton Abbas - circa 1900 - and maps and illustrations of the Parish. There is also a single A4 page with further information on St. Catherine's Chapel. Neither of these pieces are dated.
