SDO20668 - Badbury Rings Working Party Report

Report of a Working Party formed after consultation with the owner, Mr H J R Bankes, and the Planning Sub-Committee of Dorset County Council, on 1 October 1974 following a site visit. The terms of reference of the Working Party were agreed as: 'to make recommendations to the onwer and the Coutny Council, with recgard to the future management of Badbury Rings and adjacent land, bearing in mind the desirability of retaining facilities for public access and recreation and at the same time the need to protect the special archaeological and ecological importance of the site.'
