Abstract/Summary
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by Terrain Archaeology at Cooper's Wholesale, Grove Trading Estate, Dorchester, during July 2002.
One possible prehistoric boundary ditch, two Roman ditches and a possible flint footing for a Roman building were observed, all running roughly N-S in the southeastern part of the site, adjacent to the railway line.
Further to the north, parts of two probable Roman inhumation graves, oriented east-west were observed.
