Abstract/Summary
An archaeological watching brief was carried out during November and December 1998 to monitor the excavation of footings trenches for the phase II construction of school buildings.
Only limited evidence was observed here, primarily a ditch, a number of treethrows and also possibly some disturbed postholes and a gully partially within the edge of the development area. No finds were recovered, but the nature of the soils suggested a possible prehistoric date for the features.
