Abstract/Summary
0.8Ha area was surveyed by magnetometer on 18-19 February 1982. Conditions were suitable for magnetic detection of buried anomalies although the background noise present could have been enough to obscure minor anomalies. Part of a possible large circular enclosure was found on the crest of the 'Alington ridge' at Flagstones, and further possible circular anomalies were noted on the northern slopes of the ridge. Although it is not clear if the noise is modern, only a few other possibly archaeological linear anomalies were detected in the southern part of the survey.
