Abstract/Summary

A reassessment of the unpublished accounts of Cunnington and of the finds. It includes the Conygar Hill barrows, Lawrence Barrow, Barrows in Bradford Peverell, Clandon Barrow and other barrows near Maiden Castle, barrows on the South Dorset Ridgeway, Puddletown, and on Bridport Road. It includes a concordance of Cunnington’s and Grinsell’s barrow numbers. There is a comparison of barrow heights and diameters over the last 100 years. Also contains details of the burials.
