Abstract/Summary
Brief catalogue of Roman inscriptions found in 1984. This includes the following entries for Dorchester (on page 326), reproduced here in full.
17. Dorchester (Durnovaria, SY 690904), Hospital Site āCā. Sherd with orange colour-coat found in 1969 during the excavation of a pit, probably of fourth-century date. A graffito reads: ]IARC[., probably for Marc[us of possibly Narc[is(s)us.
