Abstract/Summary
The HOOD and the sea bed on which the ship lies are owned by Portland Harbour Authority Limited (PHAL). There are two significant issues for the Authority. One is the part the HOOD plays in the complex hydrodynamics of the harbour. The other is the HOOD’s use by divers and related matters of safety.
