Shop with living accommodation over, originally of one build with Minster Cottage (q.v.). Enriched date stone over door 1607, with initials. Rubble stone walls, slate roof with coped gable at right end - simulated circular stack at apex. 2 storeys and attic. Continuous string course at first floor level stepped up over door. Part-glazed shop door in stone 4-centred arched opening. Ground floor has, left of door, one 4-light stone mullioned window with enlarged centre mullion - shared with Minster Cottage (q.v.). Right of the door, a C19 shop front with moulded timber cornice and fascia, and blocked central door. First floor has, left of door, one 3-light stone mullioned window. Right of the door 4 C20 casements in ashlar surrounds with keystones. Attic has one gabled dormer with casements. C18-19 rear extension with rubble stone walls and tiled roof. Internally, in shop, a large open fireplace with 4-centred stone arch. Left of this a semi-circular recess - possible site of newel stair. One stop-chamfered ceiling beam. (RCHM Monument 20 Dorset.
