House, former farmhouse. Late C17-early C18 - altered. Cob walls, lower part roughcast, upper part tile - hung. Hipped tiled roof. 2 brick stacks at rear of main range. At rear of main range 2 adjoining half hipped wings with central valley gutter - all apparently contemporary. 2 storeys. A ledged door with glass panel in open timber porch with hipped roof. Ground floor has one casement with centre horizontal bar, and pair of French doors. First floor has 3 casements with centre horizontal bar. At right end, a lean-to in matching construction, now raised to 2 storeys with flat roof. This has one iron casement with lead lights. Range of single storey attached outbuildings at rear. Internally, some chamfered ceiling beams. Original roof structure survives, of simple tie-beam form with chamfered purlins. Reputedly site of former manor house and chapel. (R.C.H.M. monument 10.
