Please read our guidance about the use of Dorset Historic Environment Record data.
Summary
A house, formerly a farmhouse built in the late 17th or early 18th century, with later additions. The building has walls of cob, the upper parts hung with tiles, and a tiled roof with brick chimney stacks. In 1975 it was reported that surviving internal features included some chamfered ceiling beams and the original roof structure. This is reputedly the site of a medieval manor house and chapel though, as yet, no evidence has been found to support this.
