2. Rebuilt 1777. Built as an Independant Chapel, when the Independants split from the Unitarians in 1746 Since the building of the Independant (new United Reformed) Church in 1859, it has been a Temperance Hall, the Liberal Hall, and the Electric Palace Cinema. Hammer dressed stone. Slate roof with 1 hipped gable. Modillion eaves cornice. Round-headed doorway with round-headed window over it. Over lower part of window is a tablet with "Liberal Club 1886" engraved. Round-headed windows at each side.
Nos 3 to 11 (odd) form a group.
