An evaluation comprising the machine excavation of four trial trenches, a 5% sample of the area of the proposed extension. A brick-lined feature interpreted as a well was recorded. It appeared to be of similar date to the nearby barn, and had been modified to serve as a soakaway. No other archaeological features or finds were recovered.
