Description
An archaeological desk-based assessment in relation to a proposal for the construction of 8 new dwellings in the grounds and adjoining land. The site lay in an area containing numerous archaeological discoveries particularly relating to the Roman and medieval periods, the former being of potential regional significance. The proposed development would impact upon surviving archaeological resource and a further archaeological evaluation in the form of trial trenching was recommended.
