Abstract/Summary
An archaeological desk-based assessment was commissioned by Mr and Mrs Luck through their agents, Morgan Carey Architects in connection with the proposed construction of 8 new dwellings in the ground and adjoining land. The site lay in an area containing numerous archaeological discoveries particularly relating to the Roman and medieval periods, the former being of potential regional significance. The proposed development would impact upon surviving archaeological resource and a further archaeological evaluation in the form of trial trenching was recommended.
