Geophysical survey of two adjacent fields, 18.5ha in total. Fluxgate gradiometry (Bartington Grad601-2 dual fluxgate gradiometers) was used on a 30m grid with a zig-zag traverse scheme at 1m intervals and a 0.25m sample interval. Anomalies recorded in the north-west field (Area 2) were interpreted as a series of ditched enclosures, within which a number of possible structures and smaller ditches were seen. A concentration of ferrous and/or fired materials was noted, possibly representing waste from industrial activities, or disturbed ground.
