Full Description
Water tower in Meyrick Park at the 18th hole of the golf course, it was built from concrete and erected in 1900 for the Bournemouth Commissioners. It consists of a circular water tank supported by six foot tall, square columns. The columns have plinths, moulded bases, cornices and capitals. To the top there are moulded arches and there are there are three chamfered horizontal braces between each pair of columns. Within the columns is a cast-iron stair. <1>
