Summary

An early 19th century mill house attached to Romford Mill. The building has walls of brick and a slate-covered roof. In 1975 it was reported that surviving original features included an open fireplace with an oven.

(SU 07550950) Romford Mill (NAT). <1> Romford Mill, a late-18th century house and corn mill, of two-storeys with brick walls and slate covered roofs. The mill retains a wooden water-wheel and some original machinery. <2> [Note: MDO15991 relates to the House part of Romford Mill whilst MDO15990 relates to the Mill part.]
