Full Description
'The demoliton and rebuilding of Manfield's shoe-shop, 16 Cornhill (SY 69259070), revealed that the early 19th century brick front concealed a substantially altered timber-framed building, the existence of which was not realised in time for it to be recorded. At the rear of the site at least five wells filled with post-medieval material were noticed. No earlier features or finds were found.' (1)
