Abstract/Summary
A very brief summary catalogue of casual finds and observations made in Dorchester during 1983. the list includes:
the casual find of an Anglo-Saxon silver penny from St Georges's Vicarage; observations during the demoliton and rebuilding of Mansfields shoe shop; observations at the rear of the post office, High West Street; observations during the redevelopment of St. George's School, Fordington High Street; Observations during road wideneing on the corner of Church Street and High East Street; observations during the building of flats at Parsonage Farm, Fordington; and archaeological recording in advance of construction work at the site of Merchant's Garage, 45-47 High West Street.
