Summary

Prominent waste tip over West Cliff with tramway course leading out from entrance to Tout Quarry. Tipping had begun by 1863 when a tramway led to the site on the cliff edge (1) and the tip had become established by 1889 with a tramway line along the top (2). It was no longer in use by 1900. (3)

Full Description
