Summary
A desk based assessment of land south of Tinneys Lane suggested that, prior to development, there had been little change to field boundaries in this area since AD 1570, at which time it formed part of the Newland medieval field system. The site has since been developed for housing.

A desk based assessment of land south of Tinneys Lane was conducted by AC Archaeology during 1996.
This suggested that, prior to development, there had been little change to field boundaries in this area since AD 1570, at which time it formed part of the Newland medieval field system. The site has since been developed for housing (1).
