Two lines of Second World War anti-tank cubes are visible as structures on aerial photographs of the 1940s, leading to the east of Banks Road across an open area of ground, at the southern end of the neck of the Sandbanks peninsula. The cubes extend from west to east for a distance of approximately 155 m. (1-2) This site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
