Monument record MDO41943 - Possible farmstead or industrial site, Upton Country Park, Poole
Please read our guidance about the use of Dorset Historic Environment Record data.
Summary
Observations and recording during building of a new road in 2016 revealed a number of structural remains, comprising the remains of two clay or cob walls and what may have been the base of a hearth or oven. None of these were firmly dated, though a small quantity of medieval pottery from one feature suggested a possible medieval date, and these may be contemporary with ditches recorded to the south.
