Summary
A section of the Roman road between Bath and Bradbury Rings, on the boundary between Tarrant Rushton and Witchampton, is visible as earthworks on current Environment Agency lidar imagery. Part of the road underlies the east side of the former Tarrant Rushton airfield (MDO42716). It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Full Description
A section of the Roman road between Bath and Bradbury Rings, on the boundary between Tarrant Rushton and Witchampton, is visible as earthworks on current Environment Agency lidar imagery [1].The road section comprises a broken linear banked earthwork over 1035m long. Part of the road underlies the east side of the former Tarrant Rushton airfield (MDO42716). It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
