Summary

A chalk-filled trench recorded during observation of work on the Sturminster Marshall to Blandford St Mary Main in 1991. The trench formed three sides of what may have been a structure and its filling contained post-medieval building material. The archaeologists on site felt that this feature could perhaps be the remains of a medieval or post-medieval building.
