Monument record MDO5525 - Penny's Farm evaluation, Cranborne; Bronze or Iron Age pits

Summary
Pits packed with burnt flint were recorded during an evaluation at Penny's Farm in 1992. These were at first thought likely to be Bronze Age in date, but a subsequent excavation in 1996 revised the dating of these pits to probably Iron Age.
