Summary
An oval mound (23m by 18m across) is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945 within Matchams park. It is considered to be a Bronze Age round barrow as was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description
SU 126020. Round barrows NW of Matcham's House. Scheduled. An undamaged barrow of similar dimensions to `B'. Barrow `B' 5ft high, 20-25 yds diameter. Slightly damaged by a sandpit on circumference. `C' a possible third barrow 200yds WSW of `A' (SU 12510195). The whole area is undulating and is covered by bracken, and may well contain other barrows. (Theses three barrows were originally scheduled number Hampshire 234 but are now number Dorset 855). <1>

It is considered to be a Bronze Age round barrow as was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. The site is under scrubby vegetation and light tree cover, it is still extant as an earthwork although its condition could not be accessed <3>.
