Find Spot record MDO6214 - Colluvial deposits on land off Cooper's Lane, Verwood

Please read our .

Summary

A curving hollow filled with colluvial (hill wash) type deposits recorded during archaeological evaluation of a proposed development site in 1998. No finds were recovered from the deposits filling of the hollow, but some of them sealed an apparently modern field drain, so the excavators considered the deposits to be quite recent.
