Summary
Former watermill, with attached cottage built in the mid to late eighteenth century. Mill has rubble stone walls, tiled roof with coped gables, stone stack at west gable.

Full Description
Former watermill, with attached cottage. Mid-late 18th century. Mill has rubble stone walls, tiled roof with coped gables, stone stack at west gable. On north side, roof carried down as a catslide. 3 storeys on south, single-storey on north. In north wall, arched opening for former watercourse. Above this a stone mullioned window, part glazed, part boarded. Double doors right of this, under stone arch with projecting keystone. 2 stone mullioned windows right of the doors. In east gable wall, remains of sack hoist. Left door below this in altered window opening. Blocked mullioned window above door. Internally, most machinery survives. Attached cottages at-west end, appear contemporary with mill, but extended in 19th century. These have coursed rubble stone walls, slate roof with part coped gables. <1>
