Full Description

Early 19th century three-storey stone building with pitched slate roof, formerly used for hanging the hides up to dry after they had been removed from the tanning pits. Originally had three ranges of segment-headed arches open to the weather. A low two storey extension joined this building to No. 20 South Street. Building demolished in 1998.
