Full Description

A buried soil with occasional charcoal flecks, a dark brown clay, 0.15m to 0.2m thick, observed for a distance of about 8m. Two pieces of worked chert were recovered from this layer. It is suggested this is the likely edge of the colluvium that covers half the base of the Coombe to the North. (1)
