Abstract/Summary

Observations during the construction of a new sewer pipe across land off Reap Lane, Southwell, Portland revealed two areas of buried soils, both undated, and the remains of a stone rubble field wall, also undated. A scatter of worked flint and chert, primarily of Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age date was collected from the surface of the basement.
