Abstract/Summary
Archaeological observations and recording at Woodside Lodge, during building extension, revealed an infilled ditch along the eastern boundary of the park boundary. A 1 metre wide segment of the ditch showed it to be some 1 metre deep with a flat base, and of post-medieval date. After a period of natural silting it appears to have been deliberately backfilled.
