‘A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 0.35 hectares of grassland. The survey has not identified any anomalies of probable archaeological origin, however this is more likely due to the small survey size limiting a confident interpretation of anomalies than a lack of archaeological activity. A number of possible archaeological anomalies may relate to the Roman villa identified by previous excavations. The remaining anomalies are modern in origin relating to a service and disturbance from the adjacent water treatment works.’
