Abstract/Summary
A report on archaeological observations and recording during installation of a new water supply. A mole plough was used for most of the length of the pipeline, making observation impossible. However, a spread of Roman pottery and layer of chalk flecks were observed at the north-west end of the field, probably associated with Roman chalk surfaces and occupation layers discovered here in 1987, and thought to be part of the extensive Roman site recorded just to the north.
