Abstract/Summary
Report presents the readily available archaeological and historical information pertaining to the proposed development site. The report notes that the site lies close to Canford Magna village, which has a Late Saxon and Medieval manorial centre, and that there is a likelyhooid that the development would impact prehistoric remains. It reccomends ufurther investigative work in the form of geophysical survey and/or trenched archaeological evaluation.
Appendix 1 of the report reproduces the Poole Museums Service Specification for the assessment.
