Summary
A pit cut by a small gully of possible post-Roman date, belonging to a building structure was revealed during a watching brief by Wessex Archaeology on a pipeline running through the industrial estates to the east of Poundbury Camp in 1986. This lay to the northeast of the post-Roman settlement excavated at Poundbury.

Full Description
A pit cut by a small gully of possible post-Roman date, belonging to a building structure was revealed during a watching brief by Wessex Archaeology on a pipeline running through the industrial estates to the east of Poundbury Camp in 1986 (1) (2) (3) (4). This lay to the northeast of the post-Roman settlement excavated at Poundbury (5).
