Monument record MDO2826 - Medieval ditch in The Old Walled Garden, Warmwell House, Warmwell

Summary
A ditch recorded during archaeological observations of construction of a manège in 1996. The ditch was of late twelth or thirteenth-century date. Archaeologists on site noted that it appeared to follow the same alignment as the existing north-south wall of the garden and possibly represented an earlier field or property boundary.
