Abstract/Summary
An archaeological excavation and subsequent monitoring of services was carried out prior to and during construction of residential dwellings on the 0.75ha site. Settlement and funerary activity dating from the middle Bronze Age through to the present day was identified. Deposits included early Iron Age storage pits, well-furnished 'Durotrigian' burials and a circular structure with stone foundation dating to early Roman period together with a cemetery area dating to late Romano-British or early Saxon.
