A feature of undetermined function and several pits, four of which could be dated by ceramic evidence to the Iron Age, all at the west end of Field P.

Full Description

Iron Age pits all contained large quantities of hearthstone and burnt clay and a shale bracelet was found in one. In Field E a feature 0.9m wide and 0.23m deep consisted of large pieces of hearthstone on top of a 0.1m layer of raw white clay which in turn sat on a thick slab of shale with a nearby post hole. The function of these features is unknown (1)
